Catholic Charities information and contacts for parishes:

Catholic Charities’ is working towards developing relationships with each parish in order to provide support and information. The goal is to have one or two people in each parish designated to work closely with local office of Catholic Charities to better respond to inquiries from parishioners and community for different types of assistance.  Staff of Catholic Charities will train coordinators from parishes on resources available in their communities and at Catholic Charities.

Global Solidarity Ministry  a brief description of the Global Solidarity Ministry modeled on Catholic Relief Services Parish Ambassadors Core. Through Global Solidarity Ministry, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is offering to work with us toward a “leadership and faith-development experience that will increase the capacity of our diocese to respond to Christ’s call to global solidarity and increase the number and quality of leaders in a parish.”

The goal is to engage our Catholic family to live their faith in solidarity with our vulnerable brothers and sisters around the world.
